*Warm up your Monday evenings with Spanish, a glass of Rioja and an authentic Spanish tapa. This is a beginners course, though some basic knowledge helpful. Starting with the present tense you will learn how to conjugate a verb, allowing you to communicate to a greater level and talk about not only what you are doing but also your friends and family. There will be plenty of opportunity to practise in small groups all that you have learnt over a glass of Spanish wine and an authentic tapa that changes every week - Delicioso!
Improvers Spanish practises past and present tenses, grammar, oral exercises and more. Enjoy practising your Spanish over a glass of Spanish wine - !Que bien!

Improvers 5:45-6:45pm £125 per term.

*Beginners Portuguese with Joel Baker. Having lived in Brazil and holding a degree in this latin based language, Joel will guide you round the foundations of Portuguese. You will learn all you need to know to get you started and more. From oral exercises to grammar, listening to writing.
Please note that this is NOT a complete Beginners course; some Portuguese required.
Start date: 10 January, 11 - 12:30 £110 Includes freshly-ground coffee/ tea and patisserie per term.

*Italian with Diana Maston on Tuesday mornings (Beginners) and Thursday Afternoons (Intermediate). Along with weekly oral and aural excerises the courses will cover the following: The Beginners class will focus on reflexive verbs and the past simple, telling the time and possessives. The Improvers will be practising the imperative and the imperfect plus direct and indirect pronouns.
Start date: Beginners: Tuesday 10 January 10 - 12am.
Intermediate: Thursday 12 January 1-3pm
Tutor: Diana Maston. Includes complimentary freshly-ground coffee/tea and home-made patisserie, £140 per course.
Wednesdays of the month join the Cooking Club with Stef the Chef. Impress your friends and cook up a storm with some new recipes you can re-create at home. Session includes coffee and tasters of what the Chef cooks up. There will also be an opportunity for you to ask any burning (excuse the pun!) culinary questions you may have.

Dates:
1 February - Tapas!
Stef will demonstrate how to whip up a selection of authentic Spanish tapas from what you may find in your cupboard at home to really impress your guests.
7 March - Mexican Menu.
From enchiladas to guacamole, salsa to quesadillas etc. Finishing off with un leche de postre - delicioso!
4 April - menu to follow.
Time: 3:00 - 5:30pm
Tutor: Olive Tree's own Stef the Chef £30 per session. Includes tasters and complimentary freshly-ground coffee/tea.
Drawing. This course focuses on drawing from reality. The course will be broken into three parts: portraits and the figure, landscape and buildings, and still life. Through the weeks the basic elements of drawing will be covered and the students will be introduced to a variety of techniques and mediums.

*Thursday mornings practice your French. The classes use a variety of materials to help you brush up on your language skills. Discuss topics in small groups over coffee - en français, bien sur!
